Country of egality, France is a dream to my sephardic-not-turkish family. In 1914, Joseph, the eldest of four brothers, leaves Istanbul to France. But he will have to wait until 1924 to fulfil his dream with his entire family. They will have to come to terms between fantasy and reality. How could they imagine what they will experience in the « human rights country » ?
