Full of vigor and enthusiasm, 27-year-old Ali comes to Ukraine to study. In a few months, a war begins in his native Syria. Being far from his native home, the young man is forced to observe the last days of the world in which he grew up. Having lost everything he loved, Ali dives into memories and thoughts, trying to understand what exactly brought his country to its demise.
