Charlotte, a young woman who as a child wanted to become “a teacher or unemployed,” has only achieved the second of her two dreams: she is professionally unemployed. But with months of unpaid rent piling up and her boyfriend leaving her, she decides to go back to school to become a teacher, unaware of the absurd world she is stepping into.
