Jeong-ae is a poor girl who lives with her aunt. Despite her financial status, she is self-confident and proud. She finds herself falling out of love with her childhood sweetheart and in love with a wealthy man. Jeong-ae decides to lie to him about her background in order to make herself more acceptable to him and his family.
