An unlikely gang of new criminals decides to kidnap Jerry Calà with the aim of asking for a large ransom and turning their lives around. They will soon discover that things aren't exactly as they imagined. Friends Mara Venier and Umberto Smaila and their son Johnny intervene, playing themselves, but the turning point comes when Massimo Boldi himself declares himself willing to pay the ransom.
