The film is about Sergey Kuryokhin, one of the most prominent authors in the Russian musical avant-garde of the late twentieth century. He was not just a performer or a composer of music. His projects embodied the spirit of the times, the usual hierarchy of arts disappeared, the boundaries of genres collapsed.
