For several centuries, the site has been known for the mysterious disappearances of people who have lived there or visited it. The most well-known story is about the disappearances and mysterious deaths of settlers and the family of Victor, a local farmer from the 19th century. However, it is neither the first nor the last. Dozens of other people have mysteriously disappeared there to the present day, including Laura's sister.
