After an unknown Apocalyptic event, and burying his last friend, our hero finds he must now travel and survive alone. After a riverside writing session, he abruptly encounters a loud, bumbling idiot. Trying to shake off this new companion, the two are quickly captured by an apparent cult of roving cannibals. Now doomed to death only hours after meeting, the two seek desperate escape. In the struggle, our haphazard idiot is able to escape leaving our hero apparently alone once again. After a head to head fight with the leader of the cannibals- our idiot miraculously saves our hero.
