After Mr. L. had to leave his old home due to a resettlement, he finds himself in a room full of furniture. A journey of exploration begins, through drawers, rooms, sounds and memories. Daniel Höpfner's experimental animated film impresses with its original, detailed form. The exploration of the old building with soundscapes filled with the speeches of old rulers also provides an insight into something much larger and more global than just the decay of an individual's property. Old systems decay, dictators and governments fall. And what remains are memories and symbols.
