A despotic king fortifies himself by devouring two subjects per year. Now it's time for two friends, who decide to escape. During their flight, the character of each will assert itself, guiding their actions. One will reveal himself as fraternal and integrated with the forces of nature, embodying them. The other will become oppressive and cruel, hardening body and soul through the submission of his friend.
