A perspective of New York City as the Desert of the Real - A critical note raised by philosopher Jean Baudrillard in “Simulacra and Simulation” (1981) arguing on the liquidation of reality by the image. It is a map that overshadows the territory or, in this film, an image of one of the busiest cities in the world without its essence - the humans that inhabit it.
