Black and white UCLA student film, preserved by the UCLA Film and Television Archive. A British artist travels on assignment to the United States to get distance after the death of his sister. When his car breaks down on a hot August afternoon, he stumbles for miles until reaching a young, mysterious girl and the home of a stone cutter. The coincidences he encounters prove too strange to be believed.
