“ Bird 100 ” , a tribute to Charlie Parker on the centenary of his birth ( Aug. 29, 1920). The story of Bird, the revolutionary musician and the man tormented by the “ evil of living, ” is told by Franco Maresco with the support of archival materials and the participation of pianist Salvatore Bonafede and alto saxophonist Orazio Maugeri.
