This Is a Beginning tells the story of a young woman who finds the love of her life while trying to bring her parents together. According to belief, people choose their parents before they are born. Buket chooses the father she thinks is most suitable, but for some reason she is unable to choose her mother. Determined to resolve this situation, Buket comes into the world as a spirit and seeks help from a woman named Zeynep. Buket, whose voice can only be heard by Zeynep, asks the young woman to facilitate the meeting between her father and mother. Zeynep, who agrees to Buket's request, will encounter the love of her life while striving to bring the little girl's parents together.
