After 27 years of addiction to "pasta base" (cocaine paste) and a life of criminal activities in "El Puente," Daniel achieved the improbable: he rehabilitated himself. Today, he returns to the same area to help those who still live on the fringes of society—addicts and former companions in addiction—by offering what he calls "the first dose." For a user, it’s another step deeper into addiction; for him, it's an act of humanity.
