MLK BLVD.

Malcolm, a 19-year-old Black film student is struggling with writers block. At his predominantly white college, Malcolm is constantly reminded of how he isn't “Black enough,” causing moments of self-reflection. Pressured by stereotypes and expectations, he returns home for a family cookout where he reconnects with friends and family. There, he realizes that his art should reflect his true self, rather than conform to others' narrow definitions.
