Mats has always wanted to be a father, but when the time finally comes, it doesn't go as he had imagined. The baby cries a lot and is dependent on his mother, and Mats feels left out in the new family dynamic. The pressure to be a good father increases as he feels inadequate. Post Partum is a short documentary that depicts a man's experience of becoming a father for the first time and addresses feelings that many new fathers can feel, but that few dare to talk about.
