The film begins 41 days after the untimely death of Malini's husband. As Malini grapples with her grief and the sympathy of those around her, the film weaves through past and present, gradually revealing the dark, abusive realities of her marriage that were hidden behind closed doors. Through disjointed memories and unsettling flashbacks, viewers are left to question the blurred lines between the victim and perpetrator.
