Manga artist Yuki rushes from Tokyo to Kyoto upon receiving news that her father has been critically injured in an accident. After her father is discharged from the hospital, he goes to a nursing home named Hallelujah to begin his rehabilitation. As Yuki meets and interacts with Yoko, a care worker, she becomes involved in the work that happens in Hallelujah.
