Reels of experiments and play with camera movement, lighting, shadow and rephotographing images from books and magazines. Owens is experimenting and playing in each, with focus, camera movement, as well and his own presumably collaged materials. Includes images of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's cafeteria ca.1966 when Owens was attending the school. Following a partnership with the Chicago Film Society to restore the 16mm films of SAIC alumnus Edward Owens, the Flaxman Library has recently finished new 16mm restorations of Owens' earlier 8mm work.
