A film about boys dreaming of becoming astronauts. Two friends built an entire spaceport, stole their friend’s puppy Sharik for experiments and renamed him Marsik, trained by eating only herring paste from a tube, and fought with a greedy speculator named Zakurdaev, who mined his garden to keep the boys from sneaking in.
