In a run-down 1950's hotel, a cleaning maid develops a weird obsession with a foreign musician. The maid sees glimpses of the world beyond the iron curtain, and she dwells in her downward spiral on the borderline of “Do I want to be with her or become her?”. Her partner suffers the consequences.
