Selma and Josefine live together in an apartment in Nørrebro. Selma plays the classical harp and struggles to return to everyday life after being admitted to a psychiatric ward. Josefine has a burning dream of making it as an actress, but is often met with resistance and despair. The film insists that humans are in a process where perfection forever remains an illusion.
