Children climb into an abandoned attic and meet a talking rook who is rushing to the Pokrovka district to save houses from the house-eater - the spirit of oblivion. The children decide to help the rook and go with him. The rook takes the children into the memory of the house and tells the secrets of the houses. Going on this adventure with the heroes, the viewer will walk along the streets of the Pokrovsky district of Moscow: learn the history of the Levitan house, the Rakhmanov house and the Ukraintsev chambers.
