Limerence, Or: The Internal Spectacle of the Adolescent Experience

Spiraling through a world of mindless desires and vapid illusions, John is shaken out of the maddening chaos when he meets a girl named Lilly. Life suddenly makes sense in the pursuit of her as John slowly falls in love. This thin vestige of security is shattered when reality strikes and John realizes he has been swept up into an illusion of daydreams. But of whose making? Cast back into the anxiety-inducing abyss of the modern Zeitgeist, John must fight to find his way out of madness in hopes of one day finally seeing life beyond illusions. Limerence is the story of the average teenage experience of "finding yourself" told on a metaphysical scale and against the backdrop of a Rock Opera.
