A portrayal of a woman from a Caucasian village in Dagestan who adopts a nonconformist attitude in the patriarchal world. Her decision is very brave because strict social rules based on conservative Islam are not favorable to women. The protagonist has a secret weapon at her disposal: persistence, steadfastness and determination gained under the Soviet Union, when she was a wrestling champion.
