Set against the riverine landscape of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, Ai Thương Ai Mến centers on Hai Mến—a woman who loses both parents and is left to shoulder her family’s burdens alone amid debt and relentless personal tragedies. Along her arduous journey, she encounters Khả (Ngọc Thuận), a carefree, pleasure-seeking young heir who unexpectedly falls deeply in love with her, giving rise to a romance that is at once tender and heartbreaking.
