The short film "Dona Lia" explores the relationship between Dona Lia, a middle-aged woman who is religious but subversive in her attitudes, and her grandson, Nino. Despite the generational differences, Nino shares, in a comical and affectionate way, the memories and experiences of his grandmother's peculiar and free-spirited daily life.
