A few weeks before the presidential elections of 2008, the Paraguayan people's faith in a better future is reborn thanks to the candidacy of Fernando Lugo, the "priest of the poor." Facing the giant Colorado Party, which has been in power for more than 60 years, the former priest, now a politician, has the support of landless peasants and civil society to transform the country.
