The story of Carmen, a creative and sensitive seven-year-old girl who doesn’t fit in at school or in her new life after her parents’ separation. Her Nonna, a joyful and eccentric Italian grandmother, arrives to care for her and gifts her a magical spoon that transports her into the essential memories of her past. Through these journeys, Carmen discovers Nonna’s youth, passion, and sacrifices. As her memory begins to fade, Carmen and her mother come together to care for her and preserve her emotional legacy.
