Globe is a cinematic folktale about identity, belonging, and resistance, set amid the tribal land struggles of Kerala. Seen through Kariyan, a young tribal boy, the film reflects the deep bond indigenous communities share with their land and the alienation they face in urban society. Rooted in Attappadi, the story subtly reveals ancestral dispossession and cultural erasure, urging reflection on justice, dignity, and the right to remain in one’s birthplace.
