Les Malheurs de Mário Peixoto shows the ravages of time on a part of the copy of Limite , the only film made by Mário Peixoto in 1931. By isolating and slowing down a damaged part of the copy of this film, I managed to create an object with abstract forms and, insidiously, to give another life to a leading work of art.
