During the Austro-Hungarian occupation of the bay of Boka Kotorska in present day Montenegro, Marko Stijepović an ordinary man from the small coastal town of Risno, exiles to the United States where he decides to found a gold prospect on the shores of the Klondike river in Alaska and thus forever changing the face of his newfound home.
