Building on contemporary press photography, this creative yet educative documentary explores urban everyday life in Istanbul, Ankara, Belgrade and Sarajevo after the establishment of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes "Yugoslavia" in 1918 and the Republic of Turkey in 1923. Accompanied by the magical voice of Bosnian artist Bozo Vreco, the historical pictures blend into an emotional narrative of joy and sorrow, rich and poor, tradition and modernity in the Southeast of Europe.
