Twelve-year-old Sunbo becomes unable to speak after swallowing a sea roach as a result of bullying by his friends. Through a crack formed in Sunbo's soul, the sea roach enters, and Sunbo and the two come to communicate solely by reading and hearing each other's thoughts. Seven years pass, and the moment of their separation arrives.
