The director filmed and followed Fabrice Luchini during his performances at the theater. Alone on stage, he speaks, recites, narrates and plays the precious words of great authors. We hear him in texts by Beaudelaire, Jean de La Fontaine, Victor Hugo, Elie Faure, Louis-Ferdinand Céline and Gustave Flaubert.
