An old and rather weary man feels his end draw near and decides to make a trip, armed with a bag of sandwiches and a newspaper. His gaze wanders across the bustle of the city. In some place at the edge of town, in a beautiful, hilly environment, he spends a chilly night. While waiting for his wife, he has a remarkable meeting.
