A young, bachelor singer, moves to the city in search of a job and place to live. He has to lie that he is married, to get a house for rent. He gets the photo of an anonymous beautiful young woman from a photo studio, to prove to his landlady he has a wife. Trouble starts when the girl in the picture, appears at his doorstep, and claims to be married to him, and wants to live with him.
