The film Solidarity emphasizes solidarity between workers, office workers and students. It tells about the "Finnish way of life" (a society owned and controlled by big capital) and the struggle for democracy that is being fought daily by work and student organizations in the workplace, in academia, in economic life and in late capitalist society as a whole. Solidarity between these groups is a prerequisite for the democratization of our society.
