A middle aged screenwriter struggles to produce his first film. His broken romantic comedy turns into an oddball ordeal requiring rewrites and consults with his only trusted confidant, Brad "The Duck" Pittt, a plastic chlorine-tablet-carrying pool accessory. His leading lady try's to find true love with her sights set on "Mr. Right Around The Corner" in a film that just maybe won't get finished.
