When Peter sees a girl, Robin, he thinks is beautiful running the local coffee cart, he is overcome with nervousness. He gets “butterflies in his stomach,” which only seem to increase his anxiety throughout the film. As he attempts to fend off the butterflies, he unknowingly demonstrates his persistence and strength to Robin in his quest to talk to her.
