Leela has been living with Parkinson’s since 1997. In this film she and her family reflect on her journey and the challenging as well as positive transformations it has brought in its wake. Initially conceived as a personal video to mark her 80th birthday, Leela’s Journey expresses one individual’s attempt to live artfully with a debilitating and often disempowering condition. Shot on a Flip Video camera. Telecast on NDTV, December 2012.
