A group of women get together every Saturday to play soccer in a neighborhood on the southern end of Mexico City. Their accounts give us a sense of their relationships in and outside the field. Soccer allows them to express their joys, dreams, and frustrations, and to remain close. For Mayra and Angélica, soccer gives meaning to their lives.
