Adrian Duncan
Adrian Duncan is an Irish artist and writer. He has published four novels, a collection of short stories and a book of non-fiction titled Little Republics: The Story of Bungalow Bliss. His novels and his short-story collection have been selected for several book prizes. Duncan's film works have screened in competition and in official selections at CPH:DOX, IFFR, Karlovy Vary, HotDocs, Biografilm, IDFA, RiDM, Dokufest, among others. From 1995 Duncan studied and worked as a structural engineer for over a decade in the UK and Ireland. He received his chartership from the IEI (Irish Engineering Institute) in 2007, before returning to study fine art and visual culture at IADT, Dún Laoghaire and NCAD, Dublin. He is a contributing editor at Paper Visual Art Journal and PVA Books (IRL/DE).
